Awesome Auditions !

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

This week I will be sharing my top 5 audition tips:

1) Be prepared - read all of the audition material thoroughly in the week leading up to the audition, make sure you read the play that the monologue is from as then you will have a better understanding of the characters circumstances leading up to the monologue.

2) Be on time to the audition - allows you to warm up and go through the material again before you go into the audition. Turning up late isn't going to leave a good first impression with the casting director.

3) Be polite to the panel - gives a better first impression to the audition panel and other auditionees. If you get cast alongside some of the other auditonees but are rude to them, no one is going to want to work with you.

4) Be yourself - the casting directors want to see your personality, they don't want to see you copying someone else.

5) Have fun - although auditions can be nerve-wracking, they are a great way of showing your talent. Also the panel are more likely to remember you if you are enjoying it.

So there are my top 5 audition tips. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog
